The body of a resident of Khunti, Ratan Topna, was found in the Kolkata-Ranchi bus, Arju, at Khadgarha bus stand under Lower Bazar police station today.
The recovery took place in the morning when someone noticed the body lying in a parked bus and informed the police, who identified the body using the Aadhar card lying near the body. The cause of death has not yet been determined. However, a police officer, he suspected it was a heart attack.
An FIR was registered in this connection and the body was sent to RIMS for postmortem. Dolni Bazar police station officer Sanjay Kumar said that the deceased is old, and his family members have reached.
On October 25, the driver and Khalasi burnt themselves to death after sleeping drunk after lighting candles in a Moonlight bus parked at Khadgarha bus stand on Diwali night.
The deceased have been identified as Madan Mahto, a resident of Gumla, and Mohemmed Ibrahim, a resident of Chaibasa.
